Melanie is an Aesthetic Nurse practitioner specialising in facial augmentation and rejuvenation procedures.
After completing extensive training with some of the
leading manufacturers and practitioners in Aesthetic Medicine Melanie established Aqualine Medical Aesthetics and is now at the forefront of facial augmentation using the latest advanced techniques with products such as BOTOX® and Dermal Fillers. Melanie is also a fully qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Melanie is a founder member of The Independent Aesthetic Practitioners Forum which was established to provide ongoing training and development for Aesthetic Practitioners.
Melanie has a long career in Nursing and has worked in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmics and in operating theatres as well as in the pharmaceutical industry for several years.
After deciding to specialize in Medical Aesthetics Melanie has performed over sixteen thousand procedures, has participated in a clinical research trial into the effects of Botulinum Toxin “A” (BOTOX ® ) and was the co- founder of a specialist clinic dealing with Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
